Acquisition of a building suitable for letting in Ixelles for a Dutch-speaking client

For this latest acquisition, BuyerSide assisted a Dutch-speaking client who was looking for a building suitable for letting in Brussels. The client wanted to buy a patrimonial property in order to rent out the units. His long-term aim is to retain the usufruct himself and give his children the bare ownership.

Total support from BuyerSide with a thorough visit

Our client was very busy and did not have the time to look for a property or organise its management once he had made the purchase. He therefore put his trust entirely in BuyerSide to find a property that met his criteria and was within his budget.

After just a few visits, BuyerSide came across a building that fulfilled the criteria. It stands right in the centre of Ixelles and comprises three housing units. The location and the budget were perfectly in line with the client's wishes and, as the icing on the cake, the three units were already let!

Unfortunately, our client was unable to be there, so BuyerSide made a thorough visit, taking lots of photos and videos. We also carried out a full analysis of the property and produced a valuation using two methods to present to our client.

Successful negotiation and management by OwnerSide

Once the property had been presented to our client, he made his decision. BuyerSide managed to negotiate a reduction of almost 10% to finalise this acquisition. Given the trust he placed in us and the smooth completion of the transaction, our client decided to call upon the services of OwnerSide for the management of the property.
